You finally have plans ready for that exciting renovation or new build, but you’re feeling overwhelmed and anxious about all the design decisions to be made. 

Maybe you already have some ideas for the materials and fixtures you’d like, but need help pulling it all together or simply don’t have time to do all the sourcing and running around.

I offer a material selection package to sort all of your hard finishes including tiles, benchtops, cabinetry finishes, flooring, tapware, door hardware etc. 

Outsource all the hard work and let me take care of concept design and selection of all your final materials, fixtures and finishes.

How it Works

We start the process with a free 15-minute consultation call.  During this call, we will have a quick chat about your project and make sure my material selection service is the right fit for you.  If you decide to go ahead, I will send you the link to a design questionnaire to complete and we will book in an in-home or video design consultation.

STAGE 1:  Design Consultation (Consultation fee is $190 for up to 90 minutes)

During our design consultation we will discuss your project in more detail and I will spend time getting to know you, your preferred style, your family, lifestyle, vision and requirements.  I will look over your site plans and joinery details or walk through your home and take any relevant measurements and photos.  Following the design consultation, I will forward you a proposal outlining the scope of works and my estimated fees to complete your project. If you decide you’d like to work with me and as soon as you give confirmation to proceed, we will move to stage 2.

STAGE 2: Concept Development

Based on your brief, I will develop an overall concept and create a personalised mood board of the design direction I propose for each space.  This will include colour scheme options, inspirational mood imagery and anything else I consider necessary to convey the concept.  

Once you are happy with the design direction proposed, I will use this as the framework for all design decisions moving forward.

STAGE 3: Material Selection

Based on the approved concept, I will start researching and selecting materials, finishes, fixtures for your home with a conscious focus on Australian made products where appropriate. Depending on the scope of works for your project, this could include flooring, paint colour schemes, tiles, cabinetry finishes, benchtops, tapware and door hardware.  Where available, I will obtain physical samples to ensure the selections are consistent with the concept, and to give you the opportunity to have a look and feel of the materials. 

We will meet to talk through the selections made, and once approved, I will develop a schedule of fixtures and fittings for your builder and a paint specification schedule for your painter (if required within your scope of works).

Service Upgrade (additional fees apply)

If you are a ‘visual’ person like me, you may want to upgrade your material selection package with a 3D model.  I can create detailed 3D models from your concepts and plans, allowing you to see the different colour schemes and finishes selected. You will feel more confident with your final selections, proceeding with a clearer vision and minimising the potential for any error before you start.
