Decorating and styling your home can be a time consuming, overwhelming and stressful process.  It is often difficult to know where to start, what will work with your overall vision and what furniture will fit into the space.

Whether you are refreshing an existing room or decorating a newly built or renovated home, I will work with you to create a thoughtfully decorated, beautiful and personalised space that is tailored to your individual needs and unique style.

How it Works

We start the process with a free 15-minute consultation call.  During this call, we will have a quick chat about your project and make sure my interior decorating service is the right fit for you.  If you decide to go ahead, I will send you the link to a decorating questionnaire to complete and we will book in an in-home or video design consultation.

STAGE 1:  Design Consultation (Consultation fee is $190 for up to 90 minutes)

During our design consultation we will discuss your project in more detail and I will spend time getting to know you, your preferred style, your family, lifestyle, vision and requirements.  I will look over your site plans or walk through your home and take measurements and photos.  Following the consultation, I will forward you a proposal outlining the scope of works and my estimated fees to complete your project. If you decide you’d like to work with me and as soon as you give confirmation to proceed, we will move to stage 2.

STAGE 2: Concept Development

Based on your brief, I will develop an overall concept and create a personalised mood board of the design direction I propose for each space.  This will include colour scheme options, inspirational mood imagery, 2D floor plans and anything else I consider necessary to convey the concept.  

Once you are happy with the design direction proposed, I will use this as the framework for all design and decorating decisions moving forward.

STAGE 3: Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment Selection

Based on the approved concept, I will start selecting finishes, fixtures and furniture that fit your budget as well as the functional and aesthetic needs of your space, with a conscious focus on Australian made products where suitable. Depending on the scope of works for your project, this might include flooring, paint colour schemes, tiles, tapware, furniture, lighting, artwork, soft furnishings and decorative items etc.  Where available, I will obtain physical samples to ensure the selections are consistent with the concept, and to give you the opportunity to have a look and feel of the materials. 

We will meet to talk through the selections made so far, and once approved, I will develop a schedule of fixtures and fittings for your builder and a paint specification schedule for your painter (if required within your scope of works).

If you are a ‘visual’ person like me, you may want to upgrade your package with a 3D model.  I will create detailed 3D models from your concepts and plans, allowing you to feel confident to proceed with a clearer vision and minimise the potential for any error before you start.

STAGE 4:  Furniture Procurement, Installation, Decorating and Styling

The exciting part! This is where your vision and dreams for a beautiful home you can be proud of comes to life.  I will continue to source and order the furniture and finer details for decorating your space. Once orders have arrived, I will complete your project by installing each piece, ensuring every detail and finishing touch is styled as intended from our initial concept.
